On Monday evening we arrived at Battery Provincial Park. It is on a piece of land between the Atlantic Ocean and the large Bras d'Or Lake. They are connected by an old canal (mid 1800's) that includes very unusual style locks because of the tide currents that alternate directions in the canal. The village in the photo is St. Peter's. We expect poor weather for the next two days.
